Welcome to the main street wilmington program

Our historic downtown is home to locally owned businesses of all kinds, and Main Street Wilmington works to promote those existing businesses and to open the doors to new opportunities for entrepreneurs looking to establish a downtown home. We also organize community events and work on beautification projects to make our downtown an inviting and vibrant place to be.

Events

Main Street Wilmington sponsors three exciting events throughout the year. Visit our event page to learn more about what's happening downtown!

BOURBON, BITES & BOOZY DELIGHTS

A bourbon-filled evening of sips, bites, sweets, and serious fun. Stroll through downtown Wilmington and enjoy stops at local businesses, each featuring a bourbon, bourbon cocktail, or bourbon-inspired dessert, with food along the way. Whether you're a bourbon lover, cocktail fan, or just looking for a fun night out, this event is for you.

Our famous Main Street comes alive with holiday magic at Wilmington’s annual HomeTown HoliDazzle parade, presented by TimberTech! From sparkling tractors and horse-drawn displays to illuminated semi-trucks, every turn brings something to delight the crowd. And the evening wouldn’t be complete without a special arrival from Santa Claus himself! Bundle up, bring the family, and experience a holiday tradition full of lights, laughter, and small-town charm.
