2010 Plan of Work for the Economic Restructuring Committee

The ER Committee will be busy in 2010 continuing their Lunch & Learn Series that was so successful last year.  The goal is to provide sessions on the following topics:  How to Create An Advertising Budget, Quality Retail Customer Service, Attractive Windows in Storefronts and Collaboration Among Downtown Businesses.  Details on dates and times will be forthcoming.

We will also be working on providing valuable information on the this site for parties interested in real estate that is available for sale and/or lease. 

We will expand our outreach outside the Main Street Wilmington borders to market the benefits of locating a business downtown via targeted marketing pieces.

To better communicate with our downtown Wilmington partners, we will be building a database of email addresses so that we can more efficiently communicate upcoming promotions and activities in the downtown.  Our goal is to provide a monthly e-newsletter to our downtown neighbors.

The ER Committee, as well as the Promotion, Design and Organization Committees  are always open to any suggestions you might have.  We want to know how we can help you be successful in your business.  We look forward to hearing from you.
