MAIN STREET WILMINGTON SPONSORS HALLOWEEN BASH
In addition to the traditional Trick-or-Treat to be held on Thursday, October 29, Main Street Wilmington merchants will sponsor Trick-or-Treat for all area children on Saturday, October 31st from 2 – 4 PM. Starting in the mural parking lot, a marked trail of participating business locations will be staffed with volunteer crosswalk guards. Each child will be given a free trick-or-treat bag to collect candy. From 4 – 8 PM, games, costume judging for the most original, funniest, and scariest costumes, activities, pumpkin smashing, a Haunted House, and food will be part of the first downtown Wilmington Halloween Bash to be held in the mural parking lot and on Mulberry Street in front of the General Denver Hotel.
Get Fit will be sponsoring the Screaming 5K Run/Walk starting at 7:00 PM as well as a party from 7:30 – 10:00 in The Loft. The party will feature a DJ and cash bar with hors d’oeuvres and is open to the public. There is a $5 cover charge for this event. Call Get Fit or The Loft at 937-655-9353 for further information.
The General Denver Hotel will host a masquerade party starting at 7:00 PM. Open to the public with no cover charge, this event will have live music from Streetwise. Food and drink will be available in the pub.
