This class is for the individual that has no computer knowledge or computer skills. The class is limited to the first 10 people and is a hands on class. We will go over the basics step by step, from start up to shut down. We can help you search the web for new job opportunities. This is a basic class, not designed for someone that is knowledgeable in computers.

Wednesday July 28, 2010 - WILMINGTON 1-3pm
Starting a business can be confusing and overwhelming. This session will walk you through the considerations and steps required to move forward with a business idea. Many resources will be presented to help potential entrepreneurs get started down the right path. Legal requirements, protection of intellectual property as well as good business planning will be discussed.

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 - WILMINGTON 1-3pm
Business success has a lot to do with marketing and everything to do with sales. This workshop is meant to bring business owners together to brainstorm ideas on tapping existing markets, prospecting new ones, and expanding market horizons. Bring your thoughts and ideas and prepare to share and learn from a group setting!

Learn how to market to federal government agencies. We will briefly review the necessary registrations. The majority of the class will focus on how to find opportunities and create marketing materials specific to federal agencies. We will also explore the electronic tools available to assist government vendors. Attendees will learn how to find and use government purchasing forecasts, guides, bid boards and other useful tools. How and why do I use Excel. This is another live class with limited space. If you attended our beginning computer class, this would be for you. This class is not for someone that has computer skills. It is a basic class.
