Organization:
Develops a strong volunteer base of citizens and businesses whose common interest is to preserve and revitalize the Downtown area. Creates stable funding and promotes Wilmington Main Street.
Design:
Maintains and enhances the downtown's historic character by educating business/property owners about facade enhancement and rehabilitation alternatives.
Economic Restructuring:
Strengthening the existing business district to remain competitive while recruiting new businesses to fill a market niche.
Promotion:
Marketing Down Wilmington to promote community excitement and involvement. Developing special events, heritage tourism, and a positive image for downtown.
